The Church, Glenbrook

After our last trip to the stunning Glenbrook Gorge, (read more about a previous walk here) we made time to grab a coffee and snack before we hopped on the last train (16.22 from Glenbrook station on a Sunday!).

The Church is a beautiful cafe and coffee shop, situated in, you guessed it… a former Church.

Everything about this place is on-point. From the kitsch lemonade bottle, choice selection of magazines, to delicious coffee and cake.

Gotta love a good succulent!

We each got a long black and a piece of Millionaire’s shortbread, and sat in the covered outside area, flicking through hipster magazines, and chatting about the birds and wildlife we’d seen down at the river.

Aussies know how to do good coffee and this was no exception. MASSIVE thumbs up. We will be back next time to sample more of the menu!

Refreshment needed after epic views like this!
